It's been a long journey, it's been exciting and tiresome, funny and moving...
 
We did it!

in September 2014 we visited our partners of Craft Central in London during the London Fashion Week and Design Festival. We were there during the Total Fabrication Event organised within the showrooms of CC. We also visited Cockpit Arts.
We exchanged and networked with the Craft Central staff, entrepreneurs, designer makers. We also visited Designers' Block, V&A fashion collection and 100% Design. London gave us a lot of energy and boosted our enthusiasm.

In January 2015 we visited our partners of Les Ateliers de Paris, in Paris.
We visited their incubators and pepiniere, we exchanged with the staff and residents in all fields of creative jobs: fashion, jewelry, design, craft.
We also visited the Maison&Objets international design trade fair, the Mobilier National and Manufacture Gobelines. We went to the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art (ENSAAMA) Porte Ouverte and could see where the new artists/craftsmen are learning their skills. We visited and the Fondation Louis Vuitton new museum by Frank Gehry.
We took pictures, discussed, visited exhibitions, discussed, contacted prospects and clients, and discussed.
A great experience, a great inspiration, the beginning of a new adventure.

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something given and…Una cosa Blu

Daniela Cusano, fashion designer and funder of Una Cosa Blu, mixing tradition, innovative solutions, research and craftsmanship.
The "lady of accessories'" refined her innate ability to enhance the detail in 12 years of career in prestigious international companies: Ferragamo for Emanuel Ungaro, Fendi, Swatch Group, Vivia, Viktor&Rolf.
The research, the development of original collections, the journey and the cooperation with excellent factories are in her DNA.
Florence, Rome and Benevento are the three cities where the project is realized: from the concept, to the samples, to imaging and production.

Les Ateliers de Paris: business incubator supported by the Mairie de Paris

Advice center for the economic development of creative firms, Ateliers de Paris manage 3 incubators in the sectors of crafts, design and fashion, and they host an exhibition gallery.

Located in Paris at 30 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine since 2005, this structure is a real crossroad for young creative firms.




The visit will be the opportunity for the staff of Vivaio per l'Intraprendenza to exchange with trainers and experts of Les Ateliers on methodology, programmes, services.
At the same time, the entrepreneurs from Florence will have the opportunity to visit the creative firms and meet the designers and makers.

Paris sera toujours Paris... la plus belle ville du Monde

Next step in the Business Services Network Craft & Design will be a business mission to Paris from January 25th to 31st.



The group of entrepreneurs and the staff of Vivaio per l'Intraprendenza will be visiting and exchanging with "Les Ateliers de Paris", a training school and incubator for the "métiers d'art", craft & design.
The visit will also be the opportunity to visit the trade fairs:
